    Converting Unicode to ASCII

I'm running a Windows application called msinfo32.exe, which can output system information to a file. The problem is that the file it outputs is Unicode UTF-16LE. I can run msinfo32.exe fine from NSH, but am trying to use the DOS command "type" to convert the file from Unicode to ASCII. I've tried several commands, but without any luck.

      sto02sql016d% nexec -e "cmd -c type msinfo.txt > test.txt"

"cmd -c type msinfo.txt > test.txt": The system cannot find the file specified.

      sto02sql016d% nexec -l -e cmd -c "type msinfo.txt > test.txt"

It's either saying that it can't find the file, or it brings me to the C:\ prompt on the remote machine. If I don't use any quotes, the command hangs at the C:\ prompt on the target host. Any ideas?
