I was asked to find a way to do for lack of a better way of putting it a rolling snapshot of a Production environment and a snapshot of a Test environment and generate a report on the differences between them on a monthly basis. Being new with this application I am a little confused at the process to do this. I can walk through what I need to do in simple terms, but within BL is it as simple as creating a scheduled snapshot of each machine then generate a report on the differences?
If your baseline or "master" is static, all you need to do is set up a snapshot and schedule an audit job to run against that snapshot on a regular basis.
