    Provisioning from BLCLI

      I am trying to provision from blcli using a properties control file. I need to find out how to set the hostname and ethernet interface to be used for provisioning. Ideally I'd love to see the entire list of what properties can be passed at provision-time via the props file, so we can automate as much as possible with this piece. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

      command syntax:

      Provision provisionDevice

      I have tried:

      Server.Property.NAME=ServerName

      Server.Property.HOST=ServerName

      Server.Property.HOST_NAME=ServerName

      Server.Property.FQ_HOST=ServerName

      SystemPackage.LocalProperty.computerName=ServerName

      SystemPackage.LocalProperty.cmDeviceName=ServerName

      SystemPackage.LocalProperty.HOST_NAME=ServerName

      SystemPackage.LocalProperty.HOSTNAME=ServerName

      SystemPackage.LocalProperty.NAME=ServerName

      SystemPackage.LocalProperty.HOST=ServerName

          Problem resolved.

          The key was to remember that the provisioning System Packages draw their properties from the Local Properties of that package, rather than from the properties dictionary. I could have done this other ways but here's what I did top make it work:

          -Open the System Package and go to Local Properties.

          -Create a single custom property called "HOSTNAME".

          -Select Basic Config in the System Package

          -Enter ??HOSTNAME?? for the Server name and OM name.

          -Modify the entry in the properties file to read:

          SystemPackage.LocalProperty.HOSTNAME=ServerName

          This method can be applied to pretty much any System Package field for blcli provisioning.
