Where did you define the EO - in the Config Object Dictionary or local to the Template?
Did you add the EO as a 'part' to the Template?
What does your compliance rule look like?
Where do you see that error?
The EO was created in the Config Object Dictionary
I was able to add the EO to the 'part of the Comp Template
The compliance rule is an 'Extended Object Entry' type and the rule checks to see if "value3 as string; ends with; 81387"
The error appears when I click on EO in the Component under the live objects.
Now I tried something out of the blue and I changed the name of the Extended Object from "WAS AIX Maintenance Package ID" to "SMALL" and it worked!
I'm guessing I shouldn't be to lengthy my naming conventions. Though I am running this on 7.4.5. Maybe this is just a bug...?
I don't think that char length was too long, maybe you had some extra spaces in the template for the EO name?
