My guess is it's one of these two problems:
- the user you're connecting to the remote machine as is not mapped to the administrator account
- the ACLs on the remote machine are not allowing connections from the user you're licensing as
If all else fails try clearing out your 'users' file and map all users to the administrator account in the 'exports' file.
Ok, this makes Sense!. When I try and login to the user box i.e. cd //host1, i get permission denied!. If i do an id command, i get the user which was setup previously and then deleted. How do i change the nsh user, which should allow me to login to the box via nsh.
NSH uses the user id that you use to log into your client machine... meaning if you are running NSH from your local machine, and you log into your machine as PHorrocks than your NSH user name would be PHorrocks.
Are you using NSH proxy?
Right.... managed to get things working!!!! It looked like i had set the ACL's permission wrong on the agent when running a test job. Thanks for the help
