    comments in grammar files

I am writing a grammar file to parse some asp code. the grammar file works fine on the areas in the file that contain configurable parameters. However, after this section, the file turns into proper code, some of which gets picked up by my rules, and deposited into my configuration file when I create a blpackage. now, I could create rules to deal with the dozens of lines of code, but this will take far too long and be too big of a job.

Is there a way to extend the capablities of the COMMENT token to take in entire words? for example, a standard comment token looks like this: COMMENT '.* now, can I get it to also see things like "if" or "dim" (minus the quotes of course) as comments? that way I could get the grammar file to ignore entire lines of code
