    Setting environment variables within external command

      This is probably a real easy one for you but I can't get it to work as expect. I assume it has something to do with the way users gets mapped to the agent.

      I'm deploying tomcat 5.5 on a Linux box and when I start tomcat,

      JAVA_HOME must be set to point to my Java installation.

      I tried this in one single external command

      export JAVE_HOME=/usr/java/jre1.5.0_17;

      export PATH=$JAVA_HOME/bin:$PATH;

      export CATALINA_HOME=/usr/apache-tomcat-5.5.27;

      But when tomcat starts up I get a

      “Neither the JAVA_HOME nor the JRE_HOME environment variable is defined”

      When I run this on the target itself it works perfectly but not through a BL Deploy job.
