IBM has published quite a few books under their "Redbook" banner that are fantastic. They're easily as good as the books you'd find at Amazon, and they're free. If anyone is interested in packaging up SAP for Linux, here's a chapter from the IBM Redbook that is a good starting point to install the app:

It's only 17 pages long (pgs 64 - 81). The good news is that the install is kicked off by a shell script. This fact makes it easy to package up and parametrize.
