Right now users can go to a Service Outage in the Self Service Portal and "subscribe to updates" for individual outages. Is there anyway to let users subscribe to the Service itself? that way if any outages are created for that service, they'll automatically be subscribed.
Or is there a way a service could be setup to send updates by service. for example, if the website is down the updates go to ecommerce IT and Business teams, but if the phone system goes down, all users are notified. (we would use distro lists)
Users cannot subscribe to outage of services.
