You could define job B with an IN condition for example of START-JOBB ODAT.
When Job A runs successfully it adds condition START-JOBB ODAT.
Also setup a dummy job scheduled for 5pm which will run and add condition START-JOBB ODAT in case Job A did not run by that time.

Yes Paul Robins is right but you don't even have to have the same condition names. JobA can put out its own condition, let's say JOBA_ENDED_OK and the dummy job puts out DUMMY1_ENDED_OK and then put on OR between these conditions for the prerequisites of JobB.
