An Activity Code is is associated with a Ticket Note. When creating a Note on a Ticket, you can choose an Activity Code from a drop-down field that you will see.

Hi Ken, found the activity codes, any way of making it required? currently a ticket can be closed with nothing selected.
Unfortunately not as far as I know, I just double checked the form editor where you would edit a ticket form - but the note entry screen isn't a part of that.
Eric, you might try adding a comment to this idea which is to make a Resolution Note required. Perhaps additionally an activity code could be required. Or, since you probably would like it to be required on every note you could create a new "Idea" here on Communities. BMC does listen, and considers these ideas when determining future release priorities.
