Here are some additional instructions on how to accomplish this:
Wrapping Selenium Scripts in Silk Performer
· Selenium Java binding
· Selenium test is a JUnit test
Silk Performer Project Creation
1. Create JUnit project in Silk Performer
2. Add all jar files required for Selenium executions as data files. Classpath is adapted automatically
3. Import Selenium JUnit jar
Select the class name, constructor accordingly, but leave all test methods unchecked in order to create a stub script that executes the entire JUnit test.
The resulting script is a wrapper to initiate the JUnit test. It is very easy to customize, eg. using project attributes.
In the example project the Selenium test uses an environment variable to determine the browser to be used for the test. Silk Performer can set the environment for the JUnit execution according to project variables, which in turn can be exposed to Truesight exec plan configuration.
Furthermore, the sample project can be used as generic wrapper for Selenium executions, if the test class name and the class path are parameterized.
I will look into this.
