Can you put here a screenshoot of your grid of licences?
Hide information that should not be seen by a community (which is private to your company, like host id) and show me only the grid with the licenses that are applied, please.
Check whether you have generated license for the correct host id or not. You can check the host id of a server in Add or Remove license form.
Restart the server after applying the license and then give a try.
When generating licence, I took the host ID from the 'Add/remove licence' page so I'm confident its against the correct host. I've tried the restart of both servers - No luck...
Take a look into you ar.cfg / ar.conf files and be sure that the line Disable-Non-Unicode-Clients: T is there.
Ih it is there and the value is true, change to F and try again.
That didn't work unfortunately…
Good Afternoon Ryan,
You mentioned that you installed this on 2 different servers, but I only see one Server license listed.
Also have you restarted the system yet?
Yes it was one server for AR and one for Mid-Tier. I thought that could be the issue too so I installed Mid-Tier on the Primarary (same as AR) but I'm still seeing the same error!
Yes, more than once!
Sorry I misunderstood your 2 server statement. We would only consider this 1 server. Can you check your armonitor.log file and make sure that on startup you see a line like this:
Client Host 192.168.1.220
Where the IP address is a OUTWARD facing IP address? Make sure there are no "loopback" specific adapters, like when you install tools like wireshark, as they might be causing a "false" host id to AR Server.
Yes I can see the IP address of my primary server in the armonitor.log and doesn't appear to be any loopback adapters
Thanks for the response, based on this I have to assume the license didn't get applied correctly. I'd recommend clearing the license form, restarting, then acquiring a new license and applying it, then applying the application licenses.
Are you sure that your host id is the mac address of server that AR was installed? Can you check it?
After you change the Disable-Non-Unicode-Clients to FALSE, you restarted the server?
Is there a relationship between unicode clients and AR Server licensing? I am curious where this is heading,

Hi Jason Miller,
I don't really know how this is headed, but we used it last year to solve a similar problem. At the time we used the doc Cannot Install Atrium Core Component due to error - AR System Server XXX is not licensed and after testing in our environment the problem stopped.
