I have the same feeling. In my mind it does not make sense to have the contact as the Client.
Customization to meet this need (at project time) is not smart. I talked to the customer a few minutes ago, we will use the Client ID and replicate the users of the contact table to user table.

An Incident with a Contact (instead of Client user) also auto populates the "Account" field.
It however does, upon Save unlike Client where it happens as soon as a client is selected.
Yes, I realized that after saving, the contact also populates the Account field, but I need this functionality at opening time and not after saving.
