Are you doing the change as an Administrator user?
What happens if you remove one of the existing groups, save, add the group again and save? Is it removed/added?
I am admisitrator and Asset Admin
Same situation when I delete existing group
Are you doing the modification directly on BMC.CORE:BMC_% form?
Create an api/filter/sql log when you add the group and review wheter there is workflow which prevents the update.
I am updating the records from web interface on the BMC.CORE:BMC_BAseElement 112 field it is not working
When I am updating AST:ComputerSystem form 112 field by filter it is not working
- I can see in the log it updates 112 field on AST:Computersystem but after check it on the interface it is not updated on both AST:ComputerSystem and BMC.CORE:BMC_BAseElement
When I am updating BMC.CORE:BMC_BaseElement form by filter it is working but it takes long time.
you are observing correct behavior of the system. The CMDB forms consist of multiple joins, therefore you need to establish what 112 field you are updating.
AST:ComputerSystem consists of a self join, a join with underlying regular forms, etc. You can check what underlying form the 112 field comes from on this form in the Developer Studio. As there are at least 2 regular forms that make the joins, you need to update the 112 field on the underlying regular forms for the class e.g. Base Element, xxx:ComputerSystem_. Only updating one does not provide access to the other when used in a join, therefore there are multiple 112 field updates to be done.
Base Element is the lowest regular form for the CMDB, and it will take time for an update as it needs to propagate through all the joins.
I am updating 112 field on AST_ComputerSystem which is AssigneeGroupPermissions which joined from BMC.CORE:BMC_ComputerSystem form.
On BMC.CORE:BMC_ComputerSystem dorm 112 field joined from BMC.CORE:BMC_BaseElement
After processed finish nothing changes.
should I update the record by set fields on AST:ComputerSystem or by push fields to BMC.CORE:BMC_BaseElement for 112 field.
BMC.CORE:BMC_ComputerSystem is joined to a regular form (as stated in my last comment), have you updated this forms 112 field also as it forms part of the multiple joins for the AST class?
