    Incident Console Category and Sub Category

      Hi All (again)


      i have had a look around the forum and online but have not found to much around this.


      has anyone introduced Primary and secondary category fields in the incident console?

      basically we are having issues where there are a few categorise that are fairly similar and having the single Category field the helpdesk just pick which they think is best.


      has anyone implemented 2 fields in the incident console so the helpdesk staff pick the primary category (parent) e.g. Email and then choose the secondary category (child)
      e.g. distribution groups.


      so the secondary category obviously has the look up to the primary.


      let me know if anyone has any ideas or has done anything similar
