      Hello Everyone,

I successfully made TSPS sound when receiving an alert in the following way.

           Please refer to the video.

           tsps sound - YouTube

      Prerequisites

        1. Make sure TSPS version is above 10.7.
        2. Make sure TSPS event notification function works.(OOTB function)

You can follow the steps to test the notification function works

        • Login TSPS console and into the Event Views.
        • Click “gear” icon to turn off  “Events Auto Refresh” function and turn on “Events Notification” function.

        • Send a test event from the msend utility.
        • When event comes into TSPS, the notification icon will be flash.

      Backup

Take Back up all .war file in installationDirectory\truesightpserver\modules\tomcat\webapps

      Implement

        • Edit eventsHeaderCtrl.js file in installationDirectory\truesightpserver\modules\tomcat\webapps\infraApp\modules\eventsView\js\controllers
        • Search “$scope.getSeverityColorClass = function()” in eventsHeaderCtrl.js file.
        • If string is searchable, replace the $scope.getSeverityColorClass section with the js code in the attached audio_code.txt file.

      ScreenShot 2020-04-01 09.30.08.png

        • Open the infraApp.war file located in the installationDirectory\truesightpserver\modules\tomcat\webapps\ folder with any extractor utility and navigate to the \modules\eventsView\js\controllers\ folder. Move the copied eventsHeaderCtrl.js file to this folder.
        • Open the ROOT.war file located in the installationDirectory\truesightpserver\modules\tomcat\webapps\ folder with any extractor utility and navigate to the \ folder. Move the copied beep-01a.mp3 file to this folder.
        • Restart TSPS server via tssh server stop/start command.
