This looks something to do with your MSSQL database not accepting connection from smart reporting server . The prerequisites of smart reporting will only help you to set up the user, schema and tablespace .
I found few articles for "SQL Exception - Login from untrusted domain" . you can have a look
Batch scripts are not needed for Smart Reporting Module.
this scrips you may use while report engine installation.
Please try to create database and DB user while installation of smart reporting module and authenticate with Administrator user/sa User.
note: In document, it is not mentioned that we need two dedicated MSSQL DB for both the modules. Same database can not be used for both the modules. (You can use same MSSQLSERVER instance but different database)
Thanks & Regards,
Try to log in manually to MSSQL instance from Smart Reporting server and check the connectivity.
Issue is fixed by performing below steps.
I ran the installer using below command -
java -jar TrueSight-SmartReporting-11-3-01.jar option.db.microsoftjdbc=true
I got error saying one of the DLL is missing when the installer is trying to look for sqljdbc_auth.dll.
I have downloaded the JDBC installer took jdbc jar files and copied in the Installer Directory. Under JDBC Installer under Auth directory you can find mssqljdbc_auth.dll file which can be copied to $JAVA_HOME and under Lib directory. Make sure you rename the dll file to the one Installer is looking for i.e. sqljdbc_auth.dll.
Re-run the installer using MSSQL and Windows Authentication method. It will run the installer swiftly without any issues.
