Have you tried the 'Job Executions' or 'Workloads' report types?
Job Executions --> will list all executions in a specific period (actually list the jobs so you get one line per execution)
You can use the results in an external tool, like excel, to do the analysis you need.
Workloads --> list the total job executions per period.

This SQL on EM database will provide number of jobs started in each hour of a selected day (e.g. 2020-03-01).
select T.full_hour, count(*)
from runinfo_history as H, time_index as T, date_index as D
and H.start_date_idx = D.id
and H.start_time_idx = T.id
group by T.full_hour
order by T.full_hour
