For these 2:
- BMC Digital Workplace Advanced Deployment Package Version 20.02.00 (DWPCatalog20.2forITSM1808Patch001_20.2-3.zip)
- BMC Digital Workplace Advanced ITSM Integration Patch Version 20.02.00 (Remedy-intg-patch-DWPC-20.02.00.zip)
and what is the difference between them ?
One is the D2P package for the DWPC ITSM integration patch. The other is the traditional installer for the same thing.
BETA Remedy-plugin-integration-patch-for-DWP-Catalog Version 20.02.00 (Remedy-intg-plugin-DWPC-20.02.00-BETA.zip)
We are moving the architecture of the ITSM integration patch so that instead of calling a bat file each time a call has to go back to DWPC, it uses a plugin to ensure the Remedy server doesn't run into performance issues.
BMC Digital Workplace Catalog DB for MS SQL/Oracle Version 20.02.00
As of 19.11, the DWPC installer doesn't create the schema for the application. It needs to be created by restoring a database backup.
Hope this helps.
Hello Hugh Fairfield,
Of course this helps. Thanks a lot for this explanation
Little question....do you recomend to use the new BETA Plugin or not ? I like the idea of leaving the .bat solution. We got lot of memory/cpu/perfomance problems becaquse of that.
My apologies. I thought I replied to this. I know the issues that you had, and this should resolve a lot of those. There may be some issues getting it going, but I think it would be a good endeavour.
Thanks a lot Hugh.
However to apply something what has BETA in the name on a Live system will be not really approved by the customer
