      Hi ,

As per the OS team , there is a core file generating in the bmcaddm home directory . As checked , some default tool based commands are causing the below .

What actions can be taken from bmcaddm on this issue ?

      SOFTWARE_PROGRAM_ABNORMALLY_TERMINATED

      CORE FILE NAME

      /home/bmcaddm/core

      PROGRAM NAME

      lsof64

      Regards

      Apoorv

As far as I could see, LSOF is used by the method 'getProcessToConnectionMapping' and the actual command string as following:

          lsof -l -n -P -F ptPTn -i 2>/dev/null

          However there is a note:

"lsof requires superuser privileges to display information on processes other"

Basically make sure that LSOF is executing itself as 'sudo' by providing the 'sudo' path within 'initialise' script for AIX platform (Administration-->Platform-->AIX-->Shell scripts) - may be this is the root cause?
