Do you want to close alerts, right? Please clear about it, like what exactly you want to do.
To close the events, manual way is the only way. If you want to delete and clear the event from repository, then you can try with mquery command.
mquery -n <cellName> -s DELETE -w "slotName == <value>"
Points to keep in mind before using mquery :
1. using -s DELETE will delete the events from event repository. (If you compare with manually closing the events, then these events will remain in event repository only the status will changes to CLOSED)
2. It may impact performance (I have used the same command previously. It really helped me. No performance issue occurred at our side).
