      Hi ,

I have upgraded the BAO platform from 7.9.01 to 8.2, post upgrade of REPO, below error was encountered in the repository.log.

REPO is not able to build the indexes and not able to load the old content from the REPO.

We are using the Oracle as external Database .

Below arcticle from the communities has already been tried.

I don't know if this will be of any direct help, but I ran into a bugger of a problem when I did our TSO v8.2.0 upgrade.  We are running on Windows Server 2012 R2 and use MS SQL Server as an external database. It turned out that when the installer was run, it "tried" to unpack the Java WAR archives in the <tomcat_home>\webapps directory.  The unpacking process creates the folder that corresponds to the WAR file name (baoocp, baorepo, ux, etc.).  What it does not do is consistency check or manifest check the contents within that unpacked archive folder. Numerous files were not properly unpacked from the archive.

To correct this issue, I deleted the folder (<tomcat_home>\webapps\ux in my case) and restarted the Tomcat service.  This causes the webserver to unpack the WAR archive again, thereby rebuilding the directory and its contents.  Make note that if you customized any of the files contained within (i.e. WEB-INF\classes\log4j.xml) you will need to re-apply those changes.  This may or may not resolve your issue, but it was something that I spent several hours on the phone with support and R&D to discover.
