Thanks. A tag as it relates to the Cloud environment. Does that help?

1 of 1 people found this helpfulWe discover the tags for Cloud data OOTB.
If customer says that Discovery doesn't discover tags for cloud data, then customer must not have the recent versions of TKU and Discovery.
Or, perhaps customer is saying that, although Discovery finds the tags, it doesn't put them into the CMDB.
(I have had people open tickets complaining that Discovery doesn't find something, but really they are only looking at the CMDB data).
We recently added the CMDB Sync mechanism for TAGS data OOTB. However, customer must be on the latest AR Server version for it to work.
(Also, he needs a recent TKU version).
There is a KA about syncing tags data to the CMDB: 000165005
BMC Discovery: How are Tags for cloud entities modeled and synchronized to CMDB ?
If they have an older Remedy version and they really want the TAGS data, they should look here:
Sync TAGS data using older versions of Remedy and RemedyForce

Thanks Lisa. Our documentation though talks about "user defined tags" regarding clouds. Any idea how/where the "user defines a tag"?
