    Character Set in File Adapter

      Hi All,

      it's a very simple scenario but getting weird results.

      We are writing an XML file using OOTB AD-Utilities Terminal->File->Write Workflow with File Adapter.

      We have provided <character-set>ISO-8859-1</character-set> in adapter config.

      Also, explicitly provided ISO-8859-1 same in workflow as well.

      But when the we check the file written by File Adapter it has encoding as 'UTF-8'.

      <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

      <SampleXML>

        <element1>value1</element1>

        <element2>value2</element2>

      </SampleXML>

      As per BMC content docs Character set - Documentation for BMC Atrium Orchestrator Content 20.16.02 - BMC Documentation

      default is ISO-8859-2 but that also not coming in XML file if we remove the <character-set>ISO-8859-1</character-set> from adapter config and workflow context item mapping.

      We get still the above XML with 'UTF-8' encoding.

      Has anyone seen this issue or anything similar?

      Regards,
