This has been a curious issue indeed. To be completely honest, we have tried all sorts of industry recommended ways of forcing this cache to clear when updates are installed and they all work a bit but not fully in certain situations. We have a few more changes coming over the next couple releases to hopefully nail this once and for all. Thanks for your patience while we nail this one down. Seems like "Clearing the cache" is the "Reboot your computer" for Web Applications.
