after an Analysis Datamart is created starting form an Analysis, you can then safely remove the original Analysis from the Workspace if not needed, since the two artifacts are actually independent. So, even if you remove the original Analyses, the Datamarts created starting from them will continue to work.
Hope it helps,
That doesn't actually help because the works usually update monthly so removing them would stop them updating every month and giving the correct data to the analysis datamart.
We are actually looking for the works that we no longer use. We want to be able to exclude from the list works that are used in Analysis Datamarts.
you could use a SQL query like this one:
SELECT p.plotid AS analysis_id, p.name AS analysis_name, p.DESCRIPTION, ap.appid AS domain_id, ep.erid AS datamart_id FROM plot p JOIN ER_PROPS ep ON p.plotid = TO_NUMBER(ep.value) AND ep.name = 'er.materializer.mart.plotid' LEFT JOIN APPL_PLOT ap ON p.PLOTID = ap.PLOTID
This query produces the list of all the Analyses in the Workspace that where used to create Analysis Datamarts, where those Analysis Datamarts still exist in the product.
It provides the details of the analysis ID, name and description, the datamart ID and the domain where the analysis is stored.
This should answer to your question,
Please let me know,
Thank you. Thats what I was looking for.
