Simply go into the Configuration for Track-It!, open the Groups pod, select a group, click the actions menu and select the Permissions option and set each of the Module permissions to View except for Change related items.

I am sorry. Didnt realize you were on the old Track-It! 11 version. You would modify the security settings under Lookup Tables-Administration-Security Policies OR under Lookup Tables-Administration-Technicians.

Andrew Garrity Aug 13, 2019 12:57 PM (in response to Cris Coffey)Ok, follow up to my original question. If I make the "Help Desk" module read-only, can people still create change controls? I made only the Help Desk module read-only and now people are getting errors saying they don't have permission to create a change control.

A change request is linked to a ticket so if the system cannot create the ticket, it cannot create the change request.
