This error could be related to missing permissions on the database views. Usually, there would be a different error like "Failed to retrieve user preferences" which we have seen before.
I recommend that Wayne contacts support.

I put in a support ticket also.
And their quick & detailed response worked for me.
Please keep in mind that Your Mileage May Vary, so I take no responsibility if it doesn't work for you.
1) Stop the IIS Admin, Track-It Job Processor, Track-It Mail Processor, Track-It Infrastructure Service and World Wide Web Publishing Services on the Track-It Server.
2) Run the following queries against the Track-It 2019 Database:
delete from NAMSYSSERVERS
delete from SMSYSPROCESS
3) Now, perform an IISRESET on the Track-It 2019 Server and Start the Track-It Infrastructure Service.
Then, reload the Technician Login page using a Different Browser or maybe try using Incognito Mode.
