Hi Abhijeet, I see there is an open Support case which we are working with you to address the concerns. Overall here are some details about the security of the Mobile app.
1) Does TrueOps Mobile App store any cache on a local mobile device?
Yes, BMC will store user inputs in local storage but in an encrypted format.
2) How does TrueOps Mobile App secure its local storage on a local mobile device?
We are using a third-party plugin to secure stored information. This plugin allows the mobile application to securely store secrets such as
usernames, passwords, tokens, certificates or other sensitive information (strings) on iOS & Android.
This plugin will handle encrypting and decrypting.
3) How is the TrueOps Mobile App secured?
The TrueOps mobile app requires the HTTPS mode for access.
HTTPS is a protocol, it is used for secure communication. BMC does not support HTTP access
Not all details of the plugins will be provided. Please continue to work through the open Support case should need further details.
will there be any updates on this app or enhancements in the near future? the app could provide much more information and features to support the actual 11.3.x platform
