    Quarterly Sweep Scan in 11.1

      Question : While performing quarterly Sweep Scan , we get Dropped result, how to handle the same, is there any specific reason why scan results can be dropped and what are next action item that we should ideally perform.

       

      Current scenario/understanding/analysis on the dropped results where - Discovery tool not able to identify any device on this IP. Post checks on previous scans results, unable to find any device connected to these IP. As per BMC for dropped status, there are no devices connected or unused IPs.

       

      How to address this scenarios best and what can be the root causes.
