There are no plans but that could change based on customer feedback. Currently Microsoft supports IMAP and it can be enabled for the Track-It! email account on Exchange.
It's a conflict point for french/swiss customers.
Most of them used Exchange Web Services and live like a backtrack the IMAP parameter (they refused POP).
One has discard Track-It 20.19.x upgrade due to that.
I understand it's an effort to BMC but it would be really fine to have that.
While the new Track-It relies modern technologies - beautiful and fast displays - it's a too bad retreat.
I understand this is different from v11 and some customers may prefer EWS but IMAP is still supported as an email protocol by Microsoft so it should work fine.
Cris, more and more customers now disable the IMAP protocol by default and turn up their noses when they need to activate it.
We just have to keep in mind that it is a supported protocol even though some people may prefer a different protocol.
