Currently the AWS Policy has these actions

         "cloudwatch:GetMetricData",

         "cloudwatch:GetMetricStatistics",

         "cloudwatch:ListMetrics",

         "ec2:DescribeVolumes",

         "ec2:DescribeHosts",

         "ec2:DescribeRegions",

         "ec2:DescribeAvailabilityZones",

         "ec2:DescribeInstances",

         "ec2:DescribeAccountAttributes",

         "ec2:DescribeSnapshots",

      "ec2:DescribeReservedInstances",

         "autoscaling:DescribeAutoScalingInstances",

         "autoscaling:DescribeAutoScalingGroups",

         "autoscaling:DescribePolicies",

         "autoscaling:DescribeLaunchConfigurations",

         "autoscaling:EnableMetricsCollection",

      "iam:GetUser"

We want to add Spot information to the data we get.

      We have added

      "ec2:DescribeSpotFleetRequests",

      "ec2:DescribeSpotPriceHistory",

      "ec2:DescribeSpotFleetRequestHistory",

      "ec2:DescribeSpotInstanceRequests",

      "ec2:DescribeSpotFleetInstances",

We added all Spot actions to see which one added data with the anticipation of removing the Actions that didn't do anything.

      No data has come through.

Is it possible to get spot data?

      Peter.
