      Hi,

we are unable to stop the tomcat services once running the ":/bmc/apache/tomcat8.5/bin]$sudo ./shutdown.sh".

only the second run with the same script is successful.

      see error below

      Any Ideas?

      :/bmc/apache/tomcat8.5/bin]$sudo ./shutdown.sh

      Using CATALINA_BASE:   /bmc/apache/tomcat8.5

      Using CATALINA_HOME:   /bmc/apache/tomcat8.5

      Using CATALINA_TMPDIR: /bmc/apache/tomcat8.5/temp

      Using JRE_HOME: /usr/java/jdk1.8.0_65/jre

      Using CLASSPATH: /bmc/apache/tomcat8.5/external-conf:/bmc/apache/tomcat8.5/bin/bootstrap.jar:/bmc/apache/tomcat8.5/bin/tomcat-juli.jar

      Using CATALINA_PID: /bmc/apache/tomcat8.5/bin/tomcat8-instance1

Tomcat did not stop in time.

      PID file was not removed.

To aid diagnostics a thread dump has been written to standard out.
