I am working on a solution to this problem. I will get back to you within the next day or so.
Thank you Larry.
The scenario is such that there are distributed switches which are connected to other switches at one site. generally when the when the distributed switch goes down incidents from all the devices connected to it will raise network outage incidents. our requirement is that we want only 1 incident for distributed switch so that 1 incidents should be raised. this is achievable from Truesight end with corelation policy but we want to filter incidents on the source level ie Entuity.

I've attached an Application Note to this reply. The Note summarizes a procedure to create an EMS rule that will discard all Port Unreachable Network Outage events. I have also added a condition that allows for specific views to be excluded from this rule. Let me know how this works for you.
Dear Laurence Balon,
Thank you so much for this. It is really helpful.
Also, kindly let me know how can we can we receive only one Network outage incident when a distribution switch goes down since we dont require incidents to be raised on the connected switches because the root cause is the failure of distribution switch and not the connected switches. This can be achieved with a correlation policy in Truesight but customer wants to achieve on the source level i.e Entuity.
Thanks & Regards,
