Steve Gibbs Dec 6, 2018 7:29 AM (in response to Patrick Berrigan)If you go to one of the devices assigned to this "Patch Test Group" and expand Inventory > Patch > Missing Patches... Do you see data on the right pane?
You assigned this Patch test group to the Assigned Device Group and you can see those devices but saying Evaluation Impossible?
You can right click on the right pane and select Evaluate? Do you still get same messages?

I wonder if it has something to do with Windows Update. We were using WSUS and pointing to a local WSUS repo on our network. I disabled the GPO that pushed those settings but I am thinking that may be what is causing it.

Steve Gibbs Dec 6, 2018 7:46 AM (in response to Patrick Berrigan)Typically that message only appears if there is no patch inventory for the assigned device... Folks will put devices with no agent in the group or they don't own the patch module... either way, no data to evaluate.

Patrick Berrigan Dec 6, 2018 7:47 AM (in response to Steve Gibbs)We definitely have the correct license. I am using the same on the non-domain test lab and it works fine. I opened a support case and I am looking at the legacy WSUS settings.

On my closed network I am missing some of these certs. Why isnt a lot of these prerequisites discussed in the Admin Document for 12.8?
