    To show or hide? Approved field

      For awhile now, we've had Approved checkbox visible on the Incident form. It offers a quick glance at the approval status for SRs. But we just had an approver do something unusual by checking that box INSTEAD of replying to the actual approval request.  We want to avoid that situation . Unfortunately the Approved box is given EDIT access via ServiceDesk Staff permission set, so I cannot remove edit access.    I know I could change the editability in each approval process, but not sure what other impacts that may have and it's time consuming.. .  I could create a formula field I suppose, but I hate duplicating existing fields   What are other orgs doing?
