If not mistaken, mt not looking in the database directly.
Perhaps will help clear the cache of the MT - delete all files from the directories /cache, /Cache Plugins, /logs.
It is possible that something is not configured in ARS - check ar.cfg again, look for the old database name,
You can try to go to the admin panel of the ARS on the "Server information" - "Advanced" tab and check what is written in the Default web path

However this was because of RSSO configuration. we bypassed RSSO filter and mapping in web.xml and updated config.properties file to use default authenticate. it worked!!
Hi Shravan - I am facing same issue. After Installing SSO, I have uninstalled SSO now but still getting the error whenever i try to access Remedy via midtier. CAn you please let me know in more detail what exactly should be done to fix this? Thank you.
