generally speaking, the 'central config' for both main config as well as plugin servers is just a repository of data...the extra (prod) servers shouldn't cause any actual issue, they will just be there and be confusing...and yes you can remove them....if you are getting errors about pathing, then the records that have the invalid path SHOULD be in your test servers, and will need to be corrected...but the prod servers being in the list shouldn't hurt the configuration...

Here is one of these typical bmc knowledge articles. Instead of simply implementing a delete function, it is described with a warning in the article. I expect something different from IT, but it's only my personal opinion when I‚ve to do too much manual work.
