This may or may NOT be an issue. You will need to analyze what is happening in those 500k filters and see if there is some sort of loop/iteration going on that shouldn't be...the limit is there to stop a server from spiraling out of control reiterating through something repeatedly with no end.....there are however in today's ITSM situations that could cause millions of filters to legitimately fire an a single transaction, so you need to determine if you are in a loop, or if your limit is set too low to allow legitimate transactions to complete. I have seen some systems set to 999999999
I do have a ticket into BMC and provided logs. Nothing on the HPD:Associations form with related workflow has changed since 2015 except for two filters pushing to Social Media but they are not indicated in the arerror.log. I assumed we'd need to increase the number but waiting to hear. As mentioned we don't want to affect the performance or have them in a loop.
