Work Order 9.1 - Assignee Not Required

    T. D.

I find it very strange that you can move a Work Order through it's lifecycle with no errors requiring an Assignee, especially setting the status to Completed.

The system requires a Support Group for the Request Manager and Request Assignee, but no actual Assignee.

Am I missing something here? I find this to be a very poor design.

      Thanks!

Normally the WorkOrders created through SRM Requests and there is a below workflow that validate the request assignee and manager

          WOI:WOI:WOValidateRequestManager_910

          WOI:WOI:WOValidateRequestAsignee_900

          WOI:WOI:WOValidateRequestManager_900

          WOI:WOI:WOValidateRequestAssignee_910

I see your point thought when someone create and work directly from Work Order Console, it doesnt validate the Request Assignee.
