This is in the documentation: Upgrading - BMC Discovery 11.3 - BMC Documentation
You can backup your 11.2 instance (any appliance from 10.1) and then restore to CentOS 7 based 11.3 appliance. Details of backup and restore are here: Upgrading - BMC Discovery 11.3 - BMC Documentation
Hi Kerryn Wood, thanks for your reply!
I have just one machine that I can use for to do the migration and I want to do the upgrade for CentOS 7, too.
Is it possible, or, in this case, I have just the UPGRADE option??
I was thinking that, if I do the OS upgrade of this unique machine I have, this action would destroy the Original Discovery Install of the Virtual Appliance, and so, I won't have the DIscovery Environment to apply the RESTORE anymore. Am I right?
I know that the documentation says that if I have CentOS 6, I only have the MIGRATION option, so, it should be my answer, but I would like to explore all the possibilities.
Thank you for your attention!

There are no other possibilities. There is only migration. You cannot upgrade to CentOS 7.
