Please check the following for the remote database operation to be successful:
1. The startup account for the remote Microsoft SQL Server service must be assigned to a domain account with administrative privileges. To do this, perform the following steps on the database host server 172.24.47.239 a. From the Microsoft Management Console services snap-in (or Windows Services dialog), select the Microsoft SQL Server service. b. Right-click on the service and select properties to open the properties dialog. c. Choose the Log On tab and select 'This account', and then enter the domain user credentials. d. Restart the Microsoft SQL Server service so that the changes take effect.
2.The same domain account must have permission to access the following directory on the server system where the BMC Remedy ITSM Suite Preconfigured Stack is installed 172.24.47.239. \\172.24.47.239\C$\Program Files\BMC Software
For best performance, BMC recommends a minimum clock speed of 2.8 GHz.
AR System Server requires Java Runtime Environment (JRE) to be available for the product installation and configuration. Please make sure that minimum supported or higher version of JRE is installed before proceeding further with the AR System Server Installation.
