addition to Sidhesh.. if you want it through workflow you can use filter set field sql option
SELECT TOP 1 xyz FROM [TABLENAME] ORDER BY date DESC
Thanks All for the response. To get latest worklog have used below SQL query to fetch latest worklog of the record.
select Max(work_log_Id) from PBM_Investigation_worklog where problem_investigation_id = '$Problem Investigation ID$'

I am using the same query for incident management but not getting any result. AS checked inside the SQL management studio it is returning the latest worklog ID.
But if i am doing the same inside the AL set field action then Actions are passing out but value is reflecting as NULL.
In set field action i am using below mapping:
fielda = $1$
