Could you be more specific about the issue and your environment? I've worked with a couple of customers where we already did the upgrade to 12.7 without any issue.
Thanks, Dominik Kress . I checked with our R&D team and they said this is the only customer issue they are aware of for 12.7 so far. It seems to be an isolated incident regarding communications from what we can tell. I am not aware of any big issues with 12.7, so if you have any, please report them to our support team so that can investigate.
Yes, we received an update to our issue. It turns out that the issue involves the combination of our VMware 6.5 environment and the BMC servers that are on it. Latest update is that they were able to replicate it and yesterday support provided a fix that so far seems to have resolved this issue. At the time of my initial message there was a root cause identified but no resolution. My intent was to give a heads up to anyone who might have the same experience to spare them the frustration. I will say that Support especially Julien Devienne the superstar did a great job on working with us to try to figure this out and I appreciate their help with this.
(still if anyone wants to call me a superhero again, I'll take it! )

All: Israël has confirmed that the communication issue has not occurred again since he's put the latest test dll in place on the 8th.

The workaround would be to restart the service frequently until the hotfix will be published.
Paul: I am not allowed to communicate on a realease date as per BMC policy, but everybody here is aware of the criticity of this defect and I'm sure it'll come "soon".
Until then you can use the workaround above, but if it's not satisfying to you or if it is not sufficient to work around the issue you can contact support and we see what we can do for you.
