You may insert this into the NOTES or TICKET_NUMBER columns of the ALARM table if you know the alert id ( SERiAL).
We are trying to integrate Control-M with Service-Now. Can you shed some lights on about your script. If you like, can you share that. Would like to understand the integration.
Any help is much appreciated.
The script is easy to create. First you need to configure the EM to start a script each time an alert is generated ( see EM config doc) then you need to catch the parameters Control-M send to the script , split the parameters in components and assign the needed components( ones that you need to have in S-Now ticket) into variables.
Once you mapped the variables , you need to build from the selected variables an xml to be send to S-Now.
Also you need to build a logic for the alerts that need to create a ticket in S-Now.
Using a SOAP (or REST) web request send the xml to your S-Now instance ( the credentials should be provided by your S-Now admin) and catch the SOAP answer ( for logging ).
The S-Now admin needs to create the account in S-Now that have the roles webadmin and ITIL.
Be sur that the ports are open from your EM server to S-Now instance.
I cannot share the script because the company where I work has copyright on it.
I built the script on both Windows and Unix , and different versions of Control-M ( 8 and 9) following these steps and is working smoothly.

Did you figure how to update the alert Notes field on Control-M?
