You've to verify that your devices are able to deliver these informations within the SNMP MIBs which are collected / scannend from BMC ClientManagement.
You may want to vote for the following idea:Be able to add OIDs into SNMP discovery scans
At the moment BCM will scan the following OIDs:
Thanks for your response, I did snmp with BCM supported OIDs but only for few OIDs the device is delivering innformation.
Even for printers, I am not getting serial number or Mac address.
I saw one of your post on additional information for printers, could you please help me on this? how did you get all those information for a printer like serial number, Mac address, number of pages?

I did an SNMP Walk on an example device, copied an existing OR step made the needed changes to the chilli script and imported it as "new" OR step (Best method to additional "Printer" data? ). Specially for printers there is an out-of-the-box OR step (Printer Inventory) with which any agent is able to scan for printer informations. However this step is only able to collect data from SNMP V2 (e.g. HP Printer). If you've printers which only support SNMP V1 than this way would also not work. The OIDs for printers have a sort of standard (Printer-MIB SNMP List ). For this the special request was to collect the pages printed and present those data in a report.
The default Asset Discovery should already provide Networkname, IP, Mac and OS Name.
Thank you very much Dominik for the detailed information to fetch information from printers.
Can we do the same for switches and routers?
I modified the script and now I am able to fetch stacked switch information also.
I really appreciate for your efforts and time, it made my task very easy.
I am doing some modifications to make it more flexible, as of now this script can give you information(serial numbers and model ) up to 10 stacked switches so I am working on it to make it dynamic.
