    Adding a required field to a form - any issues with resolved?

      I am adding a required field to our Agent form to assist with a new reporting metric. I know that this will effect tickets that did not have this form when they are edited. Will this cause any issues with resolved tickets that do not have this form? I have seen strange things happen when changes are made in the past. I was wondering if anyone has run into this issue.
