You should not. CandidateSoftwareInstance nodes represent pieces of running software that Discovery thinks may be important, but it does not know what they are. They do not belong in a CMDB, which should only contain undersood configuration items. If you care about particular things that lead to CandidateSoftwareInstances, you should define patterns that identify them as SoftwareInstances. Then the correct CMDB class is BMC_SoftwareServer.
