Considering you are using Control-M version 8 or above. Follow steps mentioned below.
Go to Actions tab --> On-DO Actions --> ON ---> Jobs number of failures = 3 -- > Do ---> Notify and select Destination / Message / Urgency as defined in your environment.

First, Thank You for the reply. Perhaps I should have been more clear in my description. The answer provided has crossed my mind and is simple enough. The issue is they want to know when a job has failed 3x in a row. If I use the # of job failures the first time it occurs a ticket will be generated. But since these are cyclic jobs it becomes a problem.
If a job fails one time, then runs successful, then fails 2x, it would generate a ticket (failure count of 3). Then if it runs successful and then fails one time there would be 4 failures in the log and there would be another ticket. They are asking for a ticket after it fails three times in a row. The multiple 'NotOK' in the log are what I am trying to work around....
